The 2010 season is about to kick off on the 26th & 27th March with the Appliance Installations Stages Rally, being hosted by the Brindabella Motorsport Club. This date is usually reservered for the Rally Of Canberra, but due to not enough available roads in the ACT for a quality ARC type event, the organisers decided to run a club event and focus on elements that have been lost over the years. The Friday night wil see a return of the Prologue, where drivers can battle it out over one stage to improve thier seeded position for the event. Following this will be a "dash for cash", where crews compete over one stage for a cash prize. Another twist to the event will be the closure of Coppins Crossing Road, to enable the joining of the Greenhills and Bluetts stages. QIRX Motorsports will be entering three cars into the Rally and will also be providing the 000 course car. Dennis and Frank will be starting the season with a new improved Civic. The braking system has once again been tweaked, so hopfully they wont run out of brake pads after one stage. After a long rest Blake and Amy will entering and hopefully the "gremlins" that kept plagueing the car during 2009 have been eradicated. Mikey and Brett are hopefull that the car will be back together in time for the event. The Civic sufferred much damage after a bush excursion during the 2009 Rally De Femme in december. Tim & Emma will be bringing the "Frog" out in a official capacity as the 000 car. 000 is the first car on the road and is used to ensure that all of the road closures are in place and to identify any safety concerns or problems with the roadbook.
